If your child is interested in participating in Drama Club this school year, we invite you to attend our upcoming Parent Information Meeting.

Location: Goodridge Elementary School Cafeteria
During this meeting, we will share important information regarding Drama Club expectations, rehearsal schedules, auditions, parent involvement, and our upcoming musical production.
Prior to the meeting, we kindly ask that interested families complete the Google Form linked below. The form contains several questions that will help us prepare for the upcoming season and better accommodate our students and families.

Weekly Events at GES
Hi families,
This year’s attendance policy has had a couple big changes. Please read this policy carefully. One change is that there is a time limit on when notes can be turned in. All notes including parent and doctor notes must be turned into the school 10 school days upon returning from the absence.
Also, students are only allotted 2 unexcused absence/tardy events before a student is considered truant. You will receive a letter upon your child have 3 unexcused events. This letter is for parent/guardians to know dates to send notes in for and what steps will be taken if attendance events continue to be unexcused. You can also log into your Parent Portal to find attendance dates. If you need your log in, you must go to the school and show your ID to obtain that.
Upon 6 unexcused an Parent Engagement Meeting will be set up to come up with a plan for families to help with issue causing unexcused attendance.

Catalog Orders are in and can be picked up from the prize table this evening at Math Night from 5-7. Smaller orders not picked up will be sent home in backpacks on Monday.

We love that our students have favorite toys and fun things they enjoy, but toys need to stay at home so everyone can focus on learning and having a great day at school.
This also includes squishies, NeeDoh, and any “toy” that can pop, burst, or break open. These items can be distracting and can make quite a mess if they break!
If a prohibited toy is brought to school, it will be safely put away, and a parent/guardian will need to come to school to pick it up.
Thank you for helping us keep our school a happy, safe, and focused place for everyone!

Thanks to the generosity of a local business in our community, the Family Resource Center is able to provide winter coats to Goodridge students who are in need this year! We are so grateful for their support in helping keep our students warm this winter. ❤️
We have a limited number of coats available, so please complete the form as soon as possible if your child is in need. Coats will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
